An Interior Architecture firm based in San Francisco is looking to expand their Austin office with the addition of an intermediate level Interior Designer or Interior Architect. This is an opportunity to join an exciting, young team in Austin, in a collaborative and creative environment.
WHO YOU ARE:
- Interior Designer or Architect with 4-7 years of experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Interior Design
- Team player with a "We" mentality
- Outstanding design and technical skills in concept design through project completion
- Previous experience in Workplace and Commercial project types
- Proficient in REVIT and Adobe Creative Suite for modeling, rendering and preparation of design presentations and construction documentation
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects at varying phases
- Licensure preferred, but not required
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strong member of the design team - tasked with coordinating CDs with designers, consultants and engineers, and client's vendors
- Develop solutions for complex interiors and building renovation projects
- Coordinate, QA and review work by team - knowledge of local codes and constructability and code compliance
- Attend jobsite meetings, issue supplemental instructions and RFI responses, process submittals and shop drawing review throughout Construction Administration
