About the Bespoke Futures Program:

Collaborate with Private Equity firms and high growth Software companies through our Bespoke Futures Internship Program. This 12-week experience targets high potential undergraduate students looking to work full time and gain the skills needed to be successful in our environment. Through early career development workshops, mentorship and key networking opportunities, you will develop the confidence and valuable competencies essential to jump start your career!

• Learning and Development: With the goal of investing in our high potential, future leaders, we have incorporated elements of learning and development through online and in person trainings, hands on workshops. Additionally, you will be given access to a platform of resources and trainings that fosters continuous growth and career development.
• Mentorship: Informal mentorship can be found regularly here at Bespoke, but this program will provide formalized mentorship sessions to develop skills and achieve your professional goals. In this experience you will be paired with a mentor who can provide guidance, support, and valuable insights and perspectives.
• Bespoke Voices: Empowering you with the confidence to speak in any setting, our coursework will develop your effectiveness in communication and presentation skills. Through practical exercises and real-time feedback, you will gain the tools needed to engage and persuade your audience.
• Capstone Project: To end the program, you will get the opportunity to collaborate with peers on a meaningful initiative that will directly impact the business. The project findings and results will be presented company wide, giving you the visibility to team members and senior leaders across our organization.

Research Internship Overview:

Our interns are key members of the Bespoke Partners team. Our internship program will give you the hands-on experience into the world of Executive Search and the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in practical and commercial ways. It is a remote and in-person learning and mentorship experience. You will work directly with Research and the Search team assigned to support data entry and records, manage databases cross functionally throughout the organization and gather data on potential candidates/sources/industry and market information. During your internship you will gain insight into the real-world of market research and experience assisting on different projects throughout the Research department. Bespoke gives an integrated learning and training experience that allows for you to be immersed in the fast-paced Human Capital Management industry.

Duties & Responsibilities

Research:

• Assist with research and information gathering associated with search assignments.
• Assists adding newly identified individuals to the database and updates existing database records on an ongoing basis.
• Learn to parse and profile candidates through our CRM.
• Support ongoing competitive analysis and monitor trade publication for new research strategies and markets to target.
• Assist with tagging company records and categorizing company revenues through data input.
• Learn to draft client backgrounds.
• Assist with data input for weekly reporting and client updates.
• Learn and demonstrate a basic understanding of LinkedIn Recruiter and other research platforms with oversight from mentor.
• Learn to create client-facing deliverable such as case studies and market maps.
• Assist with off-limits tracking for sources/search clients.

Commercial Market Research:

• Source and assist in research projects through industry market and competitive intelligence analysis.
• Learn to build and document network of information sources to enhance internal research capabilities.
• Assists in reviews of trade publications and updates within the industry.

Professional Growth:

• Build foundational knowledge of Private Equity, Software, and Executive Search
• Learn importance of time management.
• Gain access to market research and sourcing strategies, utilizing a variety of tools.
• Learn to collaborate and network with teams/professional individuals.
• Develop your communication skills (professionally).
• Build your resume/portfolio.

Experience/Requirements

• Working towards an undergraduate bachelor’s degree
• Interest in Private Equity, Software, and Executive Search
• Proficiency in computer programs
• Word, PowerPoint and Excel in a Microsoft Windows environment
• Must be comfortable with using reference materials, databases, online services, and internet searching tools.
• Self-starter, ability to work independently in a hybrid remote/in person environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Must be able to commit to a weekly schedule (40 hours per week)
