Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director to join our team. This role is pivotal in expanding our private label and bulk service offering internationally with a focus on BRICS countries. The Business Development Director will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships, and negotiating contracts that align with our strategic goals.


Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Business Engagement: Identify and develop strategic relationships with potential clients, including distilleries, beverage companies, and other relevant partners.
  • Sales Development: Drive the sales process from plan to close while demonstrating our unique value proposition in rectification services.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new trends, opportunities, and challenges in the spirits maturation market.
  • Partnership Management: Manage and deepen relationships with existing partners, ensuring their needs are met and exploring opportunities for further engagement.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts, ensuring they meet company standards and objectives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the production, marketing, and finance departments to align business development strategies with company goals.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on the performance of business development initiatives against revenue targets and strategic objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in business development or sales, preferably in the spirits industry or a related field.
  • Proven track record of building successful business relationships and negotiating contracts.
  • Strong understanding of the spirits industry internationally, particularly in product development and distribution.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
