We are a midsize fast paced commercial drywall and acoustical contractor servicing Greater San Antonio, Austin and South Texas performing over 100 projects a year.

Cost Estimating and Project Management
- Review plans, drawings, and specifications, conducting site visits to gather essential information.
- Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors on quotes.
- Predict the effects of key variables on productivity and the bottom line.
- Improve accuracy, consistency, and speed of take-offs.
- Partner with field leaders and customers in pre-job planning to position projects for success.
- Facilitate strategic pre-con meetings to plan work, identify and resolve potential issues, and develop cost code structure.
- Develop and gain agreement on a schedule of values with customers to ensure appropriate project funding.
- Proactively identify opportunities in scheduling and sequencing to drive down costs while ensuring quality work.
- Be present on the job to support the field team and navigate safety, cost, and quality-impact issues.
- Effectively document customer agreements through the RFI and/or change order process.
Job Requirements
Education
- High School Diploma/GED with equivalent work experience.
Skills
