This role provides direct executive administrative support to Brian Tilzer, EVP, Chief Digital Analytics and Technology Officer. This position requires excellent independent judgement and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information. Requires an in-depth knowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures. Handles details of a highly confidential and critical nature. The right candidate for this role is highly visible and regularly interacts with members of a C-Level Executive Leadership team, other Executive Assistants, cross functional partners, and internal / external contacts. Handles a high volume of work and is comfortable with extremely unpredictable nature of workflow. Must have a high level of professionalism, be comfortable regularly interacting with C-level executives (including the CEO), and have impeccable accuracy and attention to detail, be proactive, anticipate work, be great communicator and able to make connections and interrelate department activities, operations, with an understanding how those fit into broader overall team and company strategy.This role be onsite, which means you must be located within a drivable distance to our Best Buy Corporate office in Richfield, MN. You will be asked to come into the office up to 5 days a week.What you'll do
- Provide executive administrative support for the Chief Digital and Technology Officer.
- Proactively manage leaders' calendar while balancing the leader's current priorities and anticipates future activities and priorities.
- Serve as a liaison to the leader and is considered a communication link among the leader, direct reports, peers, business partners and customers.
- Plan and coordinate complex projects, team events and activities (e.g., presentations, meetings, special events) utilizing independent judgement.
- Responsible for making domestic and international (when applicable) travel arrangementsBasic Qualifications
- 7 years of administrative support experience
- 3 years supporting an officer or senior executive
