The Director, Account and Project Management, is responsible for leading the Account Management and Project Management functions. This individual will drive the creative and design strategy for Best Buy, leading a team of Account Managers focused on executing advertising campaigns for the Best Buy Brand and Seasonal campaigns, including Back to School, Holiday, Promotional events and more. They will also lead the Project Management function, overseeing the management of timelines/process against deliverables, and the orchestration of end-to-end project execution for integrated campaigns.
This leader’s responsibilities will span from team planning, development and performance to creative strategy, cross functional collaboration and campaign execution. They will also play a critical role on the Creative and Media Leadership Team to assist in resource planning discussions, reviewing creative, and identifying process and technology needs and innovations.

What You’ll Do
- Lead a high performing team of 10 Account and Project Managers, including 4 direct reports, focused on executing advertising campaigns spanning all media formats and campaign types, ranging from lower funnel conversion driving tactics to larger integrated campaigns and media partnerships
- Lead Creative strategy for the Best Buy brand, leading teams’ work around brand design, campaign constructs, executional templates and brand architecture
- Co-lead the digital agency partnership and scope, delivering effective performance, operational excellence and efficiency, while driving innovation and technology
- Balance business inputs and brand strategy with creative processes and ad products to lead recommendations and continually optimize campaign deliverables, processes and team operations.
- Drive and inspire innovating thinking and solutioning across cross functional partners
- Partner with cross functional leaders to identify dependencies, navigate competing priorities to reach resolution and drive Marketing and the retail media business forward
- Lead team planning, structure, development and coaching
- 8 years in a fast-paced client-facing role in agency or marketing
- 4 years managing and developing people and teams
- 2 years of knowledge and experience across all media channels - digital, social, video and shoppable
- 2 years being a leader with strong partnership, communication, negotiation, and coaching skills
- 2 years managing a large team with a high volume of work and partners
- Experience in retail media networks
- Salesforce Media Cloud and Workfront experience
