Position Summary
The Production Manager is responsible for the overall support and direction of the Production teams/sub-contractors and the territory's safety program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Working with branch Management to build and train sub-contractors to execute production following our standards and practices, including the branch safety program.
- Working with vendors to ensure product availability and quality for each contracted job.
- Ensuring that all installations meet or exceed the manufacturers' installation requirements through oversight.
- Conducting branch audits to ensure compliance with our standards and practices.
- Administering the branch safety program and ensuring compliance with OSHA by providing resources, training, and accountability to all employees to guarantee a safe and healthy work environment.
- Motivating teams to set and achieve branch production goals.
- Coordinating COC pickups.
- Addressing any customer's questions about their roof.
- Responsible for ensuring warranty issues are resolved.
- Coordinating with OA to schedule installations, material drop-off, and assist with collections.
- Verifying the material is on the job site.
- Responsible for notifying the homeowner of any changes in contract pricing on the day of installation due to decking issues.
- Calling the homeowner the night before and the day of installation to verify that we are moving forward with the installation and make sure the homeowner is aware of having the driveway cleared.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Ability to travel.
- Ability to follow BCR policies and procedures as well as understand current roofing guidelines.
- Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Accurate data entry skills with great attention to detail.
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to consistently be at work and on time.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with specific deadlines.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
FORMAL EDUCATION/TRAINING
- Highschool Diploma or GED required.
- Previous roofing experience is a plus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
It is understood that the Production Manager (PM) will have transportation to and from customers, the assigned offices, etc. The PM has ability to climb a ladder for roof inspections, scale roofs for inspections, carry ladders (often times 50 lbs), sit and stand for extended periods of time and maintain communication with a variety of personnel/customers.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $51,000.00 per year
