Staffing and Recruitment:
- Assist in coordinating the hiring process for event staff, including posting job openings, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and maintaining candidate communication.
- Support onboarding activities to ensure all documentation and training are completed to comply with company standards.
- Work with the operations team to understand staffing needs for upcoming events and proactively address any shortages or overages.
Compliance Management:
- Ensure all employees meet company and regulatory compliance requirements, including certifications, background checks, and ongoing training.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of employee documentation and compliance tracking.
- Regularly audit employee files and update the team on compliance statuses, escalating any issues to the supervisor.
Operational Support:
- Provide administrative support to the operations team, including preparing reports, scheduling, and coordinating logistics for events.
- Assist in maintaining organized communication across departments to ensure staff is informed and prepared.
- Support inventory management of event-related supplies and equipment, coordinating restocking as necessary.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and suggest improvements to streamline hiring, compliance, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction at events.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
- 1-3 years of experience in operations, HR, or administrative support, ideally within event management or security industries.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Knowledge of hiring and compliance processes; familiarity with event staffing is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new software as needed.
- Experience in one or more of the following industries preferred: event staffing, security staffing, high-volume recruitment.
Physical and Mental Demands:
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, talking, or hearing.
- Extended periods of standing or walking (up to 10 hours).
- Occasional climbing, stooping, bending, or reaching above shoulders.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
