General Overview
The Sourcing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sourcing and procurement process by managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, analyzing cost efficiencies, and ensuring the timely procurement of materials, goods, or services. This role works closely with internal teams and external vendors to optimize supply chain operations and meet business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Supplier Management: Assist in identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of materials.
- Procurement Support: Work with internal stakeholders to gather sourcing requirements and assist in procurement activities, including purchase orders and contract negotiations.
- Cost Analysis & Negotiation: Analyze supplier pricing, negotiate competitive rates, and track cost savings initiatives.
- Order Tracking & Logistics Coordination: Monitor purchase orders, ensure on-time deliveries, and resolve any issues related to delays or discrepancies.
- Inventory Coordination: Work closely with the inventory team to monitor stock levels and avoid shortages or excesses.
- Vendor Compliance: Ensure suppliers adhere to company policies, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
- Data Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate sourcing data, generate reports on supplier performance, pricing trends, and procurement activities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain, finance, and operations teams to streamline sourcing processes and improve efficiency.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, contracts, and supplier evaluations.
- Market Research: Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging suppliers, and new sourcing opportunities to enhance supply chain resilience.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain roles.
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., ODOO).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of sourcing best practices, cost analysis, and contract management.
- Fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines.
