We are looking for a Hotel Front Desk Agent to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. Hotel Front Desk Agent responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Night Auditor is responsible for accurately balancing all hotel income and expenses for 24-hour hotel operating period.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
- Balances and audits for accuracy, room revenue, telephone revenue and miscellaneous income; prepares all reports relevant to daily revenue.
- Balances and audits for accuracy, all room and tax charges, cashier's reports, and guest and house accounts. Balances all credit cards, reviews account balance reports of all in-house guests and gets proper credit authorization.
- Completes and transmits daily management and accounting reports and supporting documents; prepares customer tracking report, market segmentation report, and any other auditing report necessary to ensure the accurate accounting of hotel revenues.
- Communicates with hotel management as necessary to resolve accounting discrepancies and to request or provide information.
- Performs all front desk clerk functions as required, including room reservations, PBX, and notifying guests of messages, verify wake up calls, etc.
- Provides seven day cut off for credit cards
- Ensures all guests are billed weekly through direct billing.
- Ensures all cash guests must have proper credit.
- Serves as Manager On Duty of the hotel.
- Performs other duties as designated by hotel management.

- Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed. Schedule varies according to business demands and needs.
- Appropriate level of customer service experience and skills.
- Proven ability to operate safely in the workplace, with experience in holding peers and direct reports accountable to safety standards.
- Effective communication skills with employees at all levels.
- Excellent organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to organize, plan and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with good attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and understand when management needs to be involved in decision making.
- Sensitivity to problems or challenges - The ability to identify when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong, with the skill to effectively communicate with guests in a professional manner.
- Oral Comprehension – The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through verbal communication.
- Effective decision making – The ability to analyze information, evaluate results, and implement the best solution to solve problems or challenges.
- Self-motivated, with a dedication to keeping up to date professionally, and applying new knowledge to the job.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- 1-2 years or more office assistant experience, or the equivalent combination or education and on the job experience.
- Experience with computer, computer software (Microsoft Office applications) and other relevant forms of technology, including the use of email.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and other pre-employment screening.
