Laundry Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are laundered, cleaned, and maintained to the highest standards of quality. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our hotel’s laundry services, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate washing machines and dryers to launder linens and garments efficiently.
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to established procedures.
• Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
• Inspect items for stains or damage before processing and report any issues accordingly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area at all times.
• Adhere to safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Assist in inventory management of laundry supplies and report low stock levels.

Skills

• Proficient in laundering techniques, including knowledge of fabric care labels.
• Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify stains or damages on fabrics.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple loads efficiently.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in a hotel or similar setting is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Morning shift
