We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry services. Your attention to detail and commitment to high standards will ensure a welcoming environment for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens, towels, and other items using appropriate washing techniques.
- Manage dry cleaning services as needed, ensuring garments are handled with care.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained in good condition.
- Follow established protocols for cleanliness and hygiene to meet hotel standards.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services or items.
Skills
- Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred.
- Knowledge of laundering techniques and dry cleaning processes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
