Front Desk Agent

PAY RANGE: Starting pay for current openings is $18 per hour. For employees working as Front Desk agents, this hotel pays $18-$22.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, position, experience, and longevity.

Our Front Desk Associates are likely the very first and last contact our guests have when they visit our hotel so it's important our Front Desk Associates are people who love to help us achieve our goal, which is that "Everyone who enters as guests, leave as friends."

• Front Desk Associates: Wanted - Full Time and/or Part Time (3 to 4 days a week), experienced front desk agent, front desk clerks.
• Most successful candidates will have at least 1 year hotel front desk experience.
• Experience working with the Visual Matrix property management system is a plus.
• Our associates are friendly, cheerful, welcoming people who enjoy fulfilling the needs and expectations of travelers arriving and departing our hotel.

Duties involve, but are not limited to:

• check in, check out, telephone reservations, and responding to guests needs in house.
• If you're very familiar with the City of Dana Point....that's a big plus as you can help guests find excellent dining and entertainment opportunities!
• English speaking and writing is required, but multi-lingual is a definite can help!
• Computer literacy required. If you are familiar with Visual Matrix, that's a plus!
• Part time positions are for people who enjoy "heaving lifting" in that you'll be scheduled during the busiest parts of the day! Typically, that will be either four hours in the morning or four hours in the afternoon or evening.
• * The hotel business is a 24/7/365 business, so weekdays, weekends and holidays are required*.
• Part time positions have the chance to work into full time team members for those with the right fit.
