Head Housekeeper/Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for providing exceptional service. As the Head Housekeeper, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure that all areas meet our cleanliness and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain cleanliness in all areas.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
• Train new housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest experience through effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain records of cleaning schedules, staff performance, and any maintenance issues that arise.

Skills

• Proven experience in custodial or industrial cleaning environments.
• Strong background in housekeeping management within the hospitality industry.
• Proficient in floor care techniques and equipment operation.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality standards are met.
• Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members professionally.
• Knowledge of safety practices related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage.

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
