Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and assist with check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage reservations using phone systems and hotel management software, ensuring accuracy in bookings.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance their stay experience.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to provide guests with relevant information.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while managing multiple lines.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrivals.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Assist in coordinating special requests or arrangements for guests, such as transportation or dining reservations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a front desk role within the hospitality industry is preferred, particularly in resorts or hotels.
- Strong guest relations skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively and maintain a positive atmosphere.
- Familiarity with hospitality management software is advantageous.
