Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team at Best Western Plus, Whitewater Inn. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the hotel, ensuring an exceptional experience for all guests.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff.
• Ensure all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure quality control.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
• Train new housekeeping staff on procedures and best practices.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules to optimize efficiency.

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to lead a team effectively and motivate staff members.
• Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members.
