Maintenance Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Maintenance Person will play a crucial role in maintaining a high standard of service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform residential painting, ensuring quality finishes and attention to detail.
• Execute facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC repairs.
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally.
• Supervise maintenance staff when required, providing guidance and support.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate others.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential for effective communication.
• Experience in residential painting techniques is advantageous.
• Previous experience in customer service roles will enhance interactions with tenants.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
