What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Front Desk Associate position at Best Western Rocky Mountain Lodge?
The Best Western Rocky Mountain Lodge in Whitefish, MT is seeking a new Front Desk Associate to join our team. Our ideal candidate for the Front Desk position is friendly, out-going, customer service focused, patient, and interested in giving our Guests a memorable and enjoyable experience.
This is a part-time position, with the available shifts being 3pm-11pm Saturday and Sunday. The weekend evening shift at the Front Desk is a lot of fun if you are outgoing and would enjoy engaging with our Guests!
Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Must have excellent customer service skills, and maintain a professional demeanor while being outgoing and engaging with our Guests.
- Greet and register guests in a timely manner as they arrive.
- Coordinate with the housekeeping department and maintenance staff as needed.
- Cash handling and accountability; maintain accurate paperwork as it relates to front office operations.
- Resolve small issues for guests as they arise in a calm and professional manner.
- Must be able to multitask, operating a basic computer system while remaining engaged with Guests.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
