Maintenance Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems. This role is essential in ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance activities and manage work orders.
• Conduct inspections of electrical systems, machinery, and other equipment to identify issues or areas for improvement.
• Fabricate parts as necessary, utilizing welding techniques when required.
• Supervise maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to facilitate repairs and installations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to develop preventive maintenance schedules.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and electrical systems is preferred.
• Experience with welding and fabrication techniques is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 12 per week

• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Night shift
• On call
• Weekends as needed
