030375Glens Falls, NY is looking for an OB Scrub Technician. Minimum 2 years experience in current field. Certification required. Basic Life Support (BLS) required. OB Technician assists nursing personnel in the delivery of patient care in the Snuggery Suite, taking into account the patient's special or age-related needs. The OB Technician serves as the scrub technician in Cesarean Sections and selected OB / GYN procedures. This position assumes responsibility for a safe environment and appropriate utilization of resources; directs and performs cleaning, maintenance and processing of instruments and equipment; and restocks and prepares rooms within the Unit. The OB Tech also provides rapid response to patient / family needs and requests. Every other weekend / holiday. GFH requires de-escalation training for all units (Welle, CPI or PMCS). Epic experience required. Unit Details : Charting : EPIC. - 22 bed Snuggery - Nurse-patient ratio-1 : 1 labor, 1 : 3 M / B.
