Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, with proficiency in project scheduling and the ability to read blueprints. This role requires effective communication, leadership skills, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
Duties
- Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules using effective project scheduling techniques.
- Review blueprints and plans to ensure all aspects of the project are understood and executed correctly.
- Manage procurement processes for materials and equipment necessary for project completion.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding project status, challenges, and solutions.
- Facilitate meetings with team members to discuss progress, resolve conflicts, and strategize next steps.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of construction site operations and safety protocols. Millwork preferred
- Excellent blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to liaise with diverse teams.
- A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
