Role Overview
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Project Manager at Bestmark National. The successful candidate will be responsible for expediting project tasks, managing project logistics, conducting inspections, and overseeing project management activities on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain crucial well-rounded knowledge about manufacturing processes, materials, furniture/millwork construction, and installation practices.
- Coordinate preconstruction management of assigned projects from award to completion, including drafting, scheduling, procurement & inventory management, production-assist, closeout/safety documentation, and client management.
- Cross-functionally work with Estimating, Production & Trade Partners.
- Review specifications on architectural and design drawings for submittals in shop drawings. Detail typical millwork connections and collaborate with production to showcase innovative millwork engineering for custom solutions.
- Collaborate with Arch/Design team as needed for changes and/or approvals of shops and submittals.
- Manage the mock-up process for review and sign-off prior to full production roll-out.
- Coordinate information and set expectations with trade partners supplying materials and finished components and/or services.
- Track the timeline progression for all preconstruction work on projects.
- Provide resolutions to mitigate any major delays and deliver on-track goods and services.
- E nsure that goals or objectives of the project are accomplished within the contracted time frame.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong business acumen in project planning and management.
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
