This position will join our Quality Assurance testing team as a QA Automation Intern, to test our SaaS web applications and services. The candidate will have good analytical capabilities to clearly understand business and system requirements. The intern would perform both manual and automation testing of functional, regression and integration on the changes to the SaaS platform based on those requirements on an Agile SCRUM team.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Intern, QA Automation :
- Review user / software requirements documentation
- Create, update, and execute automation and manual test cases based on analyzed requirements and overall test strategy
- Report errors in Jira and track issues to closure incl. support of defect investigation, validate defect fixes and analyze impact of fixes
- Collaborate on a Scrum Agile team
- Estimate and finish work on time
- Develop SQL scripts to select data for test case execution and verification
