Beth-El America LLC (BEA) is a leading manufacturer of advanced air filtration systems and a trusted integrator of electronics, mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems and components.
As BEA continues to expand, we are looking for a skilled Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in the assembly, inspection, and integration of our cutting-edge products. A technical background, attention to detail, and a commitment to precision and quality are essential for success in this position.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assemble and integrate electro-mechanical components into complex systems, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and quality standards.
Perform system assembly, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure product functionality and reliability.
Conduct Incoming Quality Control (IQC) to verify that all incoming materials meet required standards.
Retrieve and prepare parts from the warehouse for the assembly process, ensuring inventory is well-organized and easily accessible.
Accurately document process steps and update the ERP system to maintain production records, inventory tracking, and traceability.
Maintain a clean, safe, and structured work environment to promote efficient workflows and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Experience in electro-mechanical assembly and integration processes is required.
- Hands-on experience with basic electrical assembly tasks, such as routing harnesses and connecting electrical plugs, is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics in English.
- Ability to understand, utilize, and follow technical documents and procedures
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve production issues; able to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal production, welding, and surface treatment is a plus.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Experience with advanced ERP systems to document and track production processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) for reporting and communication.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be fluent in English- both written and spoken
- Must be a US citizen or possess a US work permit
- Ability to occasionally travel out of state is a plus
