Job Description:
The Clinical Nurse Leader will oversee the safe and efficient flow of surgical patients through the preoperative, recovery, and discharge phases. This role requires strong leadership and collaboration skills to mentor, guide, and supervise PACU staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide PACU staff to ensure effective patient care
- Coordinate daily activities with nursing personnel using effective communication and leadership skills
- Collaborate with anesthesia floor leaders, OR nursing clinical leaders, and bed facilitators for daily efficiency and throughput
- Analyze staffing requirements and assign personnel as needed
This position requires a minimum of three years' experience in the recovery room, with one year of supervisory experience preferred. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
