The Nursing Clinical Leader will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient flow of surgical patients through the preoperative and recovery phases. This includes supervising and guiding PACU staff, coordinating daily nursing activities, and working collaboratively with anesthesia floor leaders.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of three years' experience in the recovery room and one year of supervisory experience is required, as well as proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Responsibilities include analyzing staffing requirements, assigning personnel, and ensuring adequate staffing per shift and call coverage.
- This position requires strong analytical and organizational skills to resolve conflicts or problems that may develop, as well as to participate in oversight of nursing orientation for new employees.
