The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Biology and Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston are seeking a full-time General Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialist . At Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, our multidisciplinary obstetrical and gynecological team provides world-class, highly personalized care to patients throughout all stages of life. From family planning and pregnancy to intimate health and menopause, our team includes specialists in all areas of obstetrics and gynecology.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a history of activity and commitment to the academic mission including teaching and leadership in resident and medical student education. An academic appointment will be made at the Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor level at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. All candidates must be BC / BE in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

The Division of Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology prioritizes a culture of collaboration and collegiality that emphasizes providing outstanding patient care, dedicated teaching to our trainees and to students from Harvard Medical School, and research excellence. In order to reach patients where they live, we have full spectrum reproductive care clinics based in the community, including Chelsea, Chestnut Hill, Dedham, Dorchester, and Lexington. We have an active full scope general gynecological surgical practice; our generalists perform major gynecological surgeries and are supported by faculty from the Minimally Invasive Gynecological (MIGS) Division for more complex cases.
Our robust faculty development program helps our faculty achieve growth in their careers and creates an environment of inclusion that attracts diverse faculty and promotes faculty retention. A peer mentoring program focuses on supporting early career faculty. As Harvard Medical School teaching faculty, there are many resources available to support both your promotion and skills as an educator.
