What are the responsibilities and job description for the Survey Project Manager position at Beth Page tech?
This position is responsible for managing clients, employees, and projects in the collection of information and execution of surveying and construction staking projects, specifically within California's standards and requirements.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
- Provide direction, support, and mentorship to lower-level staff members.
- Oversee time management and scheduling for projects.
- Write proposals and perform cost estimating.
- Ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
- Prepare CAD drawings for boundary surveys, topographic maps, ALTA / NSPS surveys, land title surveys, as-built surveys, subdivision maps, and other survey-related documents.
- Process submittals with various city and county agencies.
- Coordinate construction bid document preparation and contract management.
- Engage with clients and public agency personnel for successful project execution.
Qualifications
The preferred candidate will have at least five (5) years of experience in office mapping related to private land development and public works projects, particularly in California. While no professional license is required, knowledge of California jurisdictional codes, local municipal standards, and procedures is essential.
