SUMMARY:
The Clinical Transition and Stabilization Services (CTSS) Therapist will assist emotionally and behaviorally challenged youth with transitioning into and remaining stable within therapeutic foster homes. Within this innovative clinical support program, all therapy will be provided using generally accepted theories and techniques.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
A Masters degree from a regionally accredited program in a clinical mental health discipline that included a clinical practicum with children/adolescents is required. A minimum of one year post-Masters experience providing assessment, treatment, and case management services to children within the mental health and child welfare system is required. Clinical licensure is preferred (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, psychologist). The employee must have experience with family systems and behavioral interventions; training and experience with play therapy is beneficial. The ability to work effectively as a team member and navigate multiple systems is critical. Effective communication (orally and in writing) is required (all candidates must submit a clinical writing sample). Valid Act 33 and 34 clearances.
Position Overview:
Location: Reed Street (South Philadelphia)
Schedule: day shift, some days can go into evening hours depending on availability of the client
Traveling: schools, homes, and communities,
- 65 cents for every mile as travel reimbursement
Salary: $48,000 per year set rate $3000 sign on bonus
