Job Purpose

The Writer is a creative communications professional with strong writing skills, a passion for Bethany Children’s Health Center’s mission, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. This position is responsible for creating and editing communications for internal and external audiences, generating ideas for new content, proofreading articles before publication, and supporting the development of various newsletters, videos, and graphics.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Create and edit communications on a variety of topics for our internal and external audience. (55%)
• Assist with management of Bethany Children’s website and intranet platform (BuzzCom) (20%)
• Support the Bethany Children’s Foundation with communications to various stakeholders. (10%)
• Actively participate in ideation brainstorming sessions with the team, to identify engaging content for both internal and external audience. (5%)
• Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are effectively communicated to employees by actively participating in meetings and documenting key takeaways. (5%)
• Other duties as assigned (5%)

Qualifications

Education : Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, or a related field.

Experience : 3-5 years of Communications, writing and / or Marketing experience.
