Job Description
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

FLSA STATUS:

PURPOSE:
- This position independently performs and is responsible for marketing Bethany College to prospective students. The purpose of this position is to increase the overall enrollment of the college. This person will also advise all potential students in matters of financial aid, student life, co-curricular activities and general academic information.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Territory Management.
- Participate with on-campus and off-campus event days.
- Host prospective students and their families on campus.
- Create successful recruitment activities in a specified geographic area including high schools, college fairs, and alumni events.
- Build strong relationships with prospective students by initiating telephone communication, text messaging, email, social media and handwritten correspondence to prospective students and their parents.
- Work in collaboration and cooperation with other departments and academic divisions on campus.
- Articulate scholarship and financial aid programs to students and parents.
- Use timely and appropriate judgment in upward communication regarding department concerns and responsibilities.
- Provide continual evaluation of processes and procedures. Responsible for suggesting methods to improve area operations, efficiency and service to both internal and external customers.
- Utilize Slate in recruitment territory
- Develop weekly pipeline reports to be sent to the Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid
- Participate in team meetings, providing input and suggestions.
- Regular and satisfactory attendance and punctuality.
- Perform all other duties as assigned

Job Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong work ethic – dedicated to completing the job.
- Ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences, including students, parents, faculty, staff, alumni, administration, and the community-at-large.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects/assignments concurrently and be very results-oriented. ? Highly motivated and works well both independently and in a team environment.
- Functional knowledge with Microsoft Windows
- Functional knowledge with Microsoft Office
- Basic personal computer operation
- Willingness to adapt to a changing technology environment, i.e. updates, security, and new versions
- Ability to use multiple Internet browsers
- Competent in email and document management
PHYSICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods through out the day. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read technical information.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Employee will primarily work from office at Bethany College. On location, work is generally performed indoors with ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment. Evenings and Weekends required. Will travel to assigned locations.
TRAVEL: 40% minimum, travel as required by recruiting schedule
