The Bethany Community School is an elementary school (grades PK to 6) located in central Bethany on an extensive rural campus. The school offers a supportive leadership team and staff.
The Lunch Aide will supervise children during lunch in order to ensure a positive, safe, and clean environment.
Work Schedule: 13.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10:40 am to 1:25 pm
Hourly Rate: $16.48
Benefits: Paid sick time, unpaid personal time
Qualifications/Working Conditions:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent oral and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with others and follow directions.
- Ability to relate to students, staff members, parents, and the general public in an effective, patient, and courteous manner.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Considerable patience and demonstrated skills in working with children.
- Ability to maintain discretion with information of a confidential and complex nature.
- Medium strength is needed to exert force up to 30 lbs.
- Frequent traversing and moving inside the school/cafeteria.
- Frequently positions self to clean the cafeteria floor and under tables.
