Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee our front production department.
- Oversee the finishing of all baked goods according to established practices, formulas and quality control standards.
- Manage inventory management for both in-process and finished goods.
- Be ready to step in and support your staff by performing tasks/working schedules across any front production departments when needed.
- Mentor staff with on-the-job coaching and positive reinforcement to foster a high-performance team culture.
- Ensure effective training for all department personnel.
- Collaborate with management to ensure effective communication and product flow across all departments.
- Ensure timely scheduling, performance management, evaluations and discipline for front production staff.
- Attend weekly management meetings and report on department performance and KPIs.
- Proven Leadership: Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to troubleshoot problems as they arise. You’ll need to provide guidance, maintain high standards, and lead by example.

- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds and work around varying temperatures (hot ovens/cold freezers).
- Associates or Pastry Arts Degree preferred, or High School Diploma/GED
- Previous management or leadership experience in a bakery, food service or similar industry.
- Experience overseeing staff, production workflow, quality control, and inventory management.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a drug/background check.
- Ability to obtain ServSafe Food Safety Certification.
- Competitive Salary: $50,000-$60,000, commensurate with experience.
