Job Summary : Big Train seeks a highly organized person with strong customer service skills to serve as our Picnic and Guest Experience Coordinator for our 2025 Season. The Picnic and Guest Experience Coordinator is responsible for marketing, selling, organizing, and managing picnics for the Bethesda Big Train Summer College Baseball team in June and July. The role is to ensure a positive experience for fans and participants by coordinating logistics and maintaining high standards of service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Market, sell, coordinate, and schedule picnic area reservations for 100-160 guests for each of 25 baseball games and special events.
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of picnic areas, ensuring they are clean and well maintained.
- Manage picnic area staff, including scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations including food handling and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with the concession team to provide a variety of food and beverage options.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to picnic area and usage.
- Maintain accurate records of picnic area usage, reservations, and customer feedback.
- Work Closely with the team to market and promote picnics and parties.
- Perform tasks asked by the Director of Operations.
Qualifications :
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical requirements :
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
