What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Counselor position at Bethesda Country Club?
Bethesda Country Club is hiring Summer Camp Counselors to create a memorable experience for the members by supervising their children during designated times at the Club. Essential Functions:
- Focus on social activities as well as sports-related activities for Golf, Tennis, Fitness, and Swimming
- Supervise children and provide a safe, engaging, accident-free environment
- Helps with the organization and planning of our Tiger Cub Program
- Help plan and execute events (Bingo and Movie Nights in the Summer)
- Opening and closing duties in the Tiger Den
- Collect and organize lost and found
Requirements:
- Ability to collect accurate information
- Ability to resolve conflicts
- Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task well
- Excellent communicator
- The schedule is a minimum of 15 - 20 hours per week with the ability to work one weekend day
