Summary:
Responsible for the smooth operation of the facility by performing a variety of duties in and around the building and grounds. This person is responsible for the supervision of Housekeeping and Laundry departments. This person will work closely will other departments to assure compliance with state and federal regulations and is on call all hours including weekends and holidays.
Essential Duties:

- Participate in monthly meetings for QAPI, Safety Committee, Manager Meeting, and All Staff In-Services. Responsible in completion of required forms/ checklists for these programs.
- This person will meet daily with the Administrator along with other departmental managers.
- Is responsible in hiring of employees, staffing levels, budget for each department, orientation of employees on position hired for, disaster plans, and performance evaluations.
- Planning, organizing, and directing the Housekeeping, and Laundry departments.
- Supply ordering, annual inventory, and scheduling for departments.
- Be knowledgeable of state and federal regulations and facility departmental policies and procedures.
- Follow safety rules and regulations of the facility.
- Provide direction, education and leadership to staff in each department for compliance.
- Provide MSDS sheets to staff, make accessible, and update on a continual basis.
