Our district is looking for a skilled and dependable mechanic to join our team! This role involves maintaining and repairing district vehicles to ensure safe and efficient transportation for our students and staff. Ideal candidates will have experience with vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
Salary: $26.04/ Hour
Hours: 8.0 HPD/First Shift
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of five years mechanic experience
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance
- Knowledge of principles and methods for moving people or goods by road
- Prepare schedule and perform regular maintenance of all district vehicles and equipment
- Diagnose malfunctions
- Use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, jacks and hoists
- Respond to district vehicle emergencies
