Nutrition Services Summer Van Driver

Hours:  Not to exceed 5 hours per day- exact hours TBD

Rate of pay:   $20.35/hour (24-25 rate)

Job Description

1. Inspect and prepare the vehicle for daily deliveries
2. Load/unload the vehicle and deliver food items and supplies
3. Clean and sanitize the vehicle
4. Stock the serving areas with food items and beverages and assist satellite workers with serving prepared meals
5. Assist with inventory control and storage
6. Notify supervisor of shortages or special orders
7. Clean and organize eating, service and kitchen areas before and after meals
8. Store and remove food items from dry storage, coolers and freezers with delivered food items
9. Prepare meals for serving using delivered food items or items obtained from storage areas using proper safety precautions and sanitary measures
10. Stock serving areas with food items and drinks to prepare for breakfast and/or lunch
11. Serve the prepared meals and food items to students and staff
12. Put away and label leftover food from lines, clean and sanitize food serving and preparation areas in the kitchen, serving lines and storage areas
13. Notify kitchen personnel of shortages or special orders
14. Communicate with students and other staff regarding orders, comments and complaints

Person Employee selected for hire will be required to complete an employee physical and fit-for-duty screen.
