Bettenhausen Automotive is looking for a highly motivated BDC Manager to lead our Business Development Center (BDC). This role plays a critical part in driving service department revenue by generating customer leads, enhancing customer satisfaction, and managing a team of BDC representatives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong automotive knowledge and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and manage BDC representatives to ensure professionalism and positive customer interactions.
- Support daily operations by assisting with inbound calls and appointment scheduling.
- Create and manage the weekly work schedule for BDC team members.
- Monitor customer follow-ups, manage disposition reports, and ensure timely responses to unreturned surveys.
- Oversee parts special orders and coordinate with BDC reps to schedule related appointments.
- Track weekly productivity and provide bi-monthly performance reports to leadership.
- Partner with service managers and advisors to maintain outstanding Customer Experience (CX) scores.
- Support additional responsibilities within the Sales BDC as needed.
Requirements:
- Automotive service experience is required.
- Call center or BDC experience is highly preferred.
- Supervisory or leadership experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills-both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail, data-driven mindset, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
