Overview:
Better Banks is seeking a highly motivated Universal Banker with a passion for customer service to join it's team! As a Universal Banker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and promoting banking products and services.
Hours for the position
MON-THUR 7:45 - 4:15 and FRI 7:45 - 5:15. Employees work rotating Saturdays, 8:15 am – 12:15 pm. When working a Saturday, the employee gets Wednesday or Thursday as a half day.
Duties:
- Provides high level customer service by building and retaining relationships
- Opens, maintains, & closes customer bank accounts
- Builds trust with current & potential customers to understand their product/service needs, & provides solutions that will benefit the customer
- Educates customers on identity fraud
- Assists with customer bank account inquiries or concerns
- Maintain and balance a cash drawer
- Performs teller responsibilities in accordance with the Teller job description
- Actively reinforces and contributes towards the Bank’s ALWAYS value system
- Promotes a team environment
- Performs other duties as assigned by management
Skills:
- Experience in banking or related field is preferred
- Proficiency in basic math skills for accurate transaction processing
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of financial products and services
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Familiarity with loan processing, financial sales, and customer relationship management is a plus
