Job Summary
Better Being is looking for a Warehouse Operations Associate to operate lifts (i.e. Order Picker, Counterbalance, ), ensure optimal inventory storage, fulfill work orders, and other warehouse responsibilities. The work schedule for this opening is Monday - Thursday 3:00pm - 1:30am.
Essential Functions
- Performs any combinations of the following tasks: store and distribute material, tools, equipment and products within facilities.
- Fulfill work orders and gather items to be moved or distributed.
- Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas by hand, pallet jack, pallet runner and/or forklift.
- Assemble orders from inventory and transfer orders to packaging or production.
- Weigh or count items for distribution within facility to ensure accuracy and conformance to company standards.
- Uses an electronic handheld scanner.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform audits on work orders as needed.
- Support team work to attain department objectives.
- Support of and involvement in company, department, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs and activities.
- Maintenance of a clean and orderly work area by learning and applying 5S methods.
- Positively contribute to our culture of inclusion.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Good written and verbal skills are necessary.
- Ability to do basic math and work with numbers.
- Ability to apply common sense to deal with varying situations.
- An uplifting and respectful attitude.
Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit and use hands.
- The employee must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. constantly.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, accommodation, color vison, and field of vison
- May be required to wear protective gear. (i.e harness, gloves, safety glasses)
