Job Overview:
The Salesman will be responsible for generating new business and maintaining strong relationships with current clients, offering a wide range of low voltage solutions. This role requires a self-starter with exceptional communication skills and a passion for technology and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of managing multiple sales opportunities from initial inquiry to final installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the low voltage systems market, targeting both residential and commercial clients.
- Present, promote, and sell products and services related to low voltage systems, including security systems, surveillance cameras, audio/video solutions, and networking.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, quotes, and proposals to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the technical and installation teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to project implementation.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to effectively position Better Building Solutions’ products and services.
- Follow up with clients post-installation to ensure satisfaction and generate potential referral opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the low voltage, technology, or security industry.
- Knowledge of low voltage systems such as security cameras, access control, networking, and structured cabling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Strong negotiation, closing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet sales quotas.
- A background in technical or engineering fields is a plus, but not required.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $10,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
