Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Nurse to provide high-quality care to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations, including those with developmental disabilities, autism, and memory care needs. As a Home Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by delivering personalized care plans and support.

Duties

• Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's specific needs.
• Provide assistance with daily living activities, including cooking and cleaning, to promote a safe and comfortable home environment.
• Conduct patient observations to monitor health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Support clients with developmental disabilities and autism through compassionate care and engagement.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including CPR and First Aid procedures.
• Collaborate with family members and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.

Experience

• Previous experience in assisted living or home care settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with memory care practices and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
• Strong observational skills and the ability to respond effectively to client needs.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
