Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient well-being and demonstrate exceptional nursing skills. This role involves assisting individuals with various health needs, including those with developmental disabilities and dementia, while ensuring their comfort and dignity.

Duties

• Provide personalized nursing care to patients in their home environment.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Administer medications and monitor patient health status.
• Perform first aid and emergency interventions as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
• Support patients with developmental disabilities by implementing care plans tailored to their needs.
• Educate patients and families on health management and wellness strategies.
• Uphold resident rights and ensure confidentiality in all interactions.

Skills

• Proficient in first aid techniques and emergency response.
• Experience in dementia care, understanding the unique needs of patients with cognitive impairments.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting patients with mobility challenges.
• Knowledge of home health practices and regulations.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Compassionate approach to assisting individuals with disabilities, ensuring respect for their dignity and rights.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
