Duties
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety.
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in various settings such as clinics, medical-surgical units, emergency medicine, and trauma centers.
Skills
- Strong understanding of care principles in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Knowledge of best practices in emergency medicine and hospital medicine.
- Familiarity with the operations of Level I and Level II Trauma Centers.
