Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals with disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum, to implement and monitor behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Your expertise will contribute to improving the quality of life for our clients through effective behavioral therapy and support.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate individual needs and develop tailored behavior intervention plans.
- Implement behavioral therapy techniques and strategies in various settings, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
- Collect and analyze research data related to client progress and program effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and share insights regarding client behavior and progress.
- Provide training and support to caregivers and family members on implementing behavior strategies at home.
- Stay updated on current research and best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis.
Skills
- Strong understanding of working with people with disabilities, particularly those with autism.
- Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and the ability to interpret assessment results effectively.
- Experience in research data collection methodologies relevant to behavioral analysis.
- Familiarity with medical records management and medical terminology.
