We help people and animals through life's challenges by providing tools, resources, and services that support both. From a helpline to affordable veterinary services, free pet food and supplies, and rehoming and adoption services, we're a pillar of animal welfare in northern Idaho.
Director of Operations Role
We seek a seasoned leader with experience in veterinary medicine, pet boarding, or animal sheltering. The ideal candidate excels at building, empowering, and energizing teams to reach goals.
The Director of Operations will lead operational aspects of our daily animal care, veterinary services, building and campus maintenance, and community programming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations and organizational growth
- Create and manage budgets
- Develop and implement policies and procedures
- Evaluate staff performance
- Oversee scheduling of departments
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience
- Veterinary office, animal shelter, or boarding facility management experience
- Fear Free Certified
- Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and MSDS safety rules
- Experience with MS Office, Excel, and Google business suite
