Your Role

• As Founding Engineer / Technical Co-Founder, you’ll lead all things technical: architecting, building, and shipping the first working version of the product. You’ll work directly with the founder in a true partnership.
• Equity-only until funding (≈3 months)
• Remote within the U.S., ideally available during most East Coast hours
• This is a co-founder role, not a contract gig or early hire

What You’ll Own

• Build the MVP – From the first line of code to a live product in users’ hands.
• Tech Stack Ownership – Node.js React, hosted on AWS (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Cognito, etc.)
• AI Integration – Use LLMs and vector search to power experiences like intelligent recall, smart surfacing, or auto-organization.
• Foundational Infrastructure – Set up devops, monitoring, CI/CD, and security with an eye toward scale.
• Product Partnering – Work directly with the founder to shape roadmap, features, and fast experimentation.
• Technical Culture – Set the tone for engineering standards, speed, and decision-making from day one.
