Summary:
BetterLife’s Marketing Specialist works to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns to drive business goals while supporting our current members. This role is responsible for supporting strategies and tactics that drive brand awareness, increase sales, and engaging current and new members through executing innovative campaigns and creating compelling content. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Implement integrated marketing strategies that support growth goals that align with BetterLife’s marketing, mission, and brand strategy.
• Conduct competitive intelligence to gather and analyze market data, supporting the development of marketing strategies and campaigns
• Ensure all marketing materials are documented, approved, and compliant with industry regulations.
• Perform day-to-day email marketing activities including email campaign creation, drafting, editing, proofreading email content, and deployment of one-time, recurring, and triggered emails and email automations.
• Write compelling and engaging content across a wide range of channels and audiences including email marketing, social media, magazines, blogs, websites, and direct mail.
• Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms to increase brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty.
• Maintain and update company WordPress including copywriting, event landing pages, editing, images, videos, SEO and analytics.
• Support one local member group event per quarter, providing event execution support and engaging with local members.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Marketing Knowledge and Experience: Proficient knowledge and experience of marketing principles and strategies, enabling the creation of impactful campaigns that drive engagement and achieve measurable results. • Be solutions-oriented and results-focused; Hold yourself and others accountable for solving problems, completing tasks, and realizing results.
• Feed the culture of encouragement, positivity, and optimism.
• Be an enthusiastic learner and stay informed on the latest trends in marketing and adapt strategies to maintain the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
• Digital Marketing Proficiency
• Multifaceted Skills and Compelling Communication: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to craft highly compelling messages tailored to diverse audiences and demographics.
• Marketing/CRM Platform Proficiency: Hands-on experience with marketing and CRM platforms (e.g. HubSpot/Salesforce) email marketing platform, including creating and optimizing email automations, building and reporting on marketing campaigns, creating, scheduling and sending email communications, scheduling and reporting on social media campaigns, and more.
• Self-Directed Initiative: Possessing a strong sense of initiative and self-direction, with the ability to find innovative solutions and effectively manage tasks.
Education & Experience
· Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
· Two to three years of Marketing experience preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This position could be performed on-site or remotely. The role is performed in an office environment (could be done remotely) and requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Individuals must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
This position requires minimal to no travel. On occasion, may be asked to attend seminars or conferences.
