POSITION SUMMARY: The Applications Manager is responsible for the deployment, operations, and support services of enterprise systems in a manner consisted with company policies and procedures in order to ensure business continuity and alignment with business needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may.")
- Manage and administer enterprise applications and systems, to ensure stable and scalable computing environment
- Provide application-related technical support to all IT staff departments, and special projects, to ensure technical issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner
- Supervise, direct, and mentor the technical staff (Business and Technical Analysts) to ensure high levels of customer service and technical competencies and that we attract, develop and retain the very best talent in the industry
- Develop, manage and maintain relationships with external application support resources to ensure cost and service optimization
- Provide guidance and direction to ensure new integrated/interfacing business applications adhere to the technical standards and corporate process/computer controls governance
- In conjunction with IT management, strategize, manage, integrate and coordinate the IT operating plan to ensure alignment with the goals of the Company
- Understand new technologies and recommend the deployment of future application systems to ensure company leverage for future strategic planning. Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Successfully passes background check, pre-employment drug screening, an any pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
- Strong experience with data integration technologies and methodologies
- Strong experience with developing and consuming web services (REST, SOAP, XML, WSDL, etc)
- Able to quickly learn and adopt new technologies
- Proven experience in implementing applications in an agile, small company environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to provide creative solutions to real-time challenges
- Excellent consultative communication skills and ability to interface effectively with all levels of employees and management
- Ability to work in a high production environment and respond quickly and effectively under pressure
- Excellent written communication skills to effectively disseminate information and convey concepts and ideas to all levels of an organization.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL
- Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field required
- 5 years of team management experience in the IT function
- 8 years of application development and support experience in the Microsoft stack
- 5 years of Microsoft SQL Server experience

The Application Manager works indoors in an office setting, primarily sitting for extended periods of time at a desk station, keyboarding and using repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and or fingers. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus while reading and staring at computer monitor. They will also need to speak clearly and audibly, as well as have the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and /or other sounds (e.g., building alarms) deriving from in-person speech, telephone, or other remote speech. No adverse environmental conditions are expected. While in the office, the Application Manager may be called upon to stand, kneel, push, pull, reach overhead, stoop, crouch, climb, and lift; therefore, the Application Manager should be able to lift 25 lbs. independently.

Work hours may include early morning, late evenings, and weekends, depending on job demands.
